We host yoga classes seven days a week from our unique studio in the heart of Sheffield’s urban village, Kelham Island. We offer a wide range of classes and many different styles of yoga because we believe that for a healthy and balanced life, your yoga practice should change to match your physical health, energy levels and mood. Feel free to drop in to as many different classes as you like.

Yoga Basics
For Beginners and refreshers. If you want to try out yoga or know you should try yoga, this is the class for you. If you need to re-find your yoga feet after a long break or need reminding of the foundations that support even the most advanced of practices; then again, this is the class for you!
Without judgement or criticism, but full of love and attention, you will be lead through the very basics of yoga, from why we say ‘Om’, to finding your feet or your seat, in both standing and floor based poses. It won’t be long before you’re flying through a confident sun salutation.
Don’t worry if you don’t have the right attire, feel nervous or self-conscious, this class is made for those who aren’t flexible or those of you that think you don’t have ‘the yoga body.’ This class will provide a safe and fun environment to learn, laugh and love yoga.

Simply Yoga
Suitable for beginner and beyond and a perfect class to follow on from our beginners course. Simply yoga is a slower practice that emphasises a balanced combination of  sustained poses with attention to postural alignment and breathing techniques to both stretch and strengthen your body, helping you find connection between mind body and breath. Expect yourself to gain confidence in your yoga practice to help you feel more ready to take on stronger and faster classes.

Slow Flow
Suitable for beginner and beyond and the perfect class to try if you’ve completed our beginner course. It’s a slower paced vinyasa flow class where you learn to flow from one yoga pose to the next. Each class includes a variation of both standing and seated postures creatively built together to enable a deeper sense of flexibility within your body whilst providing you with the opportunity to build strength. Each movement within the class is guided by a lovely deep breathe. We say the bigger the breathe the greater the feeling of calm and happiness by the end of the class.

Suitable for complete beginner up to advanced. In our restorative class, you will rest, fully supported on our comfy bolsters, yoga bricks, pillows and blankets, whilst breathing deeply and listening to relaxing music. This style of yoga is very gentle but provides a deep physical and emotional release from stress and tension. Some people say, they feel as if they’ve had a full body massage after this class. Bliss! It is also suitable for people suffering from or recovering from many types of illnesses. Please contact us if you need further information.

Fusion is a fun and varied class that will appeal to anyone who wishes to start strengthening their practice and their body. Expect slow, flowing, controlled movements and exercisers aimed at building strength and endurance in the deep core muscles. Combined with yoga postures that build heat, increase flexibility and breath awareness. Your savasana will feel well deserved and divine! This class is suitable for everybody and beginners are very welcome.

Yin Yoga
A class suitable for beginner and up. This style of yoga involves holding seated poses for 3 – 5 minutes allowing a deeper physical release in the body. With it’s roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin yoga clears energy pathways or meridians throughout the body. It also cultivates an awareness of inner silence and the challenges that come along with that. You will find that this class completely supports you through the challenges of yin yoga providing you with different techniques to help keep your mind calm, settled and relaxed.

Fast Flow
A fast paced vinyasa flow class, suitable for those with some yoga experience or a good level of physical fitness and mobility. Expect to feel sweaty, you’ll have had a good workout, a deep stretch, twisted yourself into a shape like a pretzel and opened your chest into some lovely backbends. Savasana will feel soooo good!

Glow Flow (Strong)
Learn to fly and transition through arm balances, headstands and handstands. A core strong, fast paced vinyasa flow class that helps to build strength and stamina for poses and transitions that require a deep level of flexibility and strength in both body and mind. This class will encourage you to believe beyond your current level of ability. It’s oh so sweaty and oh so much fun! Previous yoga experience is needed, along with a good level of fitness, an open mind and a sense of enthusiasm.

Rhythm and Bhavana
Suitable for all levels. Bhavana means ‘cultivating’ or ‘mood’. Each week, this class will be inspired by music from a specific artist or genre, put together uniquely for each class. The energy of sound will be the fuel for movement to get us in the mood for Friday night, expect a light hearted, fun class with pose options for all levels. You will leave this class with a big smile, feeling ready for the weekend! If you were a fan of our Yoga for Tramlines events you’re going to love this class.


Yoga for Sporty or Stiff
Bringing a fun and varied yoga class to you sporty people that feel super stiff and tight. Expect to be guided through yoga postures that will access tight hamstrings, hips, backs and shoulders. Combined with controlled movements and exercisers aimed at building strength and endurance in the deep core muscles. By increasing your flexibility, strength and endurance, yoga will enable you to enjoy the activity you love for longer. Don’t be shy, if you’re stiff, achy or not flexible, this is just for you! There’s no chanting or meditating in this class, pure physical strengthening and stretching exercisers tailored to the needs of a sports enthusiast.

Yoga for Runners
All levels welcome. As runners know, posture and form are very important in efficient running, so why not take as much care of our bodies out of the running shoes? This particular yoga class is designed for those who run and want to compliment their training. While running gives us may benefits, it can also create stiffness, aches, inflexibility and at times injury. Working through areas that typically stiffen up from the repetitive strain that running causes, you will work toward increased mobility and strength throughout the entire body. Yoga can help you run better by helping your flexibility, strength, endurance and breathing. Don’t be shy, if you’re stiff, achy or not flexible, this is just for you!

Pregnancy Yoga
Nurturing, empowering, relaxing and space creating, pregnancy yoga. Suitable for all women in any trimester of pregnancy. You will learn how to physically and emotionally support and prepare your body for pregnancy, birth and beyond. Physical postures, breathing techniques and visualisations make up each class, you will be taught simple techniques that you can practice wherever you go. Suitable for all levels including beginners.

Postnatal Yoga
Time to ease your way back into your pre-pregnancy body! Learn effective poses to help you work into back, shoulder neck and hip tension, that builds up from hours of cuddling and feeding your little one.
Learn how to find your pre-pregnancy core strength and build on it, making you one strong mama.
Meet other mum’s and relax in a friendly, welcoming and supportive class. Babies are very welcome and we will show you how to include them in your yoga practice! Complete beginners to yoga are welcome.

Body Release
Body release is a class designed to work into those tight spots, free up muscular tension, promote healing & help the body stay injury free. Using a combination of body ball rolling, trigger point and fascia release, coupled with yoga poses; this unique class is the closest thing to manual therapy or massage that we can perform on ourselves. Perfect for sports people to tune their body & perform at their best or people who are desk bound needing to release muscular tension. Working with balls allows students to work at a level that feels appropriate and comfortable for their body tissue. After the class you may come away with similar feelings to that of a massage or physical therapy. Drink plenty of water and rest the body as required. All props are provided.

Natural Movement Class
Do you move? Really – do you move in the way our bodies were designed to? Do you jump, climb, crawl, balance?
This class is designed to reconnect with the bodies natural movement and wake up muscles we forgot we had!
A challenging class, using a mixture of equipment – think adult playground. This class will help improve strength, coordination and functional movement, great for the sporty & yogis alike. Come play and reignite the pure joy of movement.


A set sequence of movements (asana) combined with the breath, developed by K Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India. This led class is suitable for beginners to intermediates. Full guidance on sequencing is given along with physical adjustments. The aim of physical adjustments is to correct your alignment and help you to find a deeper expression of each pose.

Coming to class

  • Wear comfy clothes that are easy to move in. Leggings, fitted shorts, jogging pants, T.shirts and vest tops are great.
  • You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat to class, but we also have mats at the studio that you are welcome to use.
  • If you have a recent injury or are worried about specific aches and pains please inform your teacher before the class starts.
  • Your teacher will explain everything you need to know during each class so just listen and follow along, if you have any questions then please do ask.
  • Please do feel completely comfortable taking a break at any time, either stand, sit or lay down until you feel ready to continue.
  • We do not have our own changing room or shower facilities but there are toilets on site that you may use to get changed in
